commissions q&a
where do i go to see if your commissions are open, what your prices are, what you're unwilling to draw, etc.?
the most up-to-date information is always on artconomy! if you have an artconomy account, you can follow me on there to get an email when my commissions open.
how do you take payment for commissions?
i take payment through artconomy, which accepts cards. i will occasionally accept steam games as payment for commissions; i will post on mastodon if i'm offering commissions in exchange for steam games.
how do you ensure that commissions are completed in a timely manner?
my commission queue has very limited slots to ensure i'm not overwhelmed with work, and you can check my reviews to see how my previous clients describe my turnaround times. commissions are typically started within 1 or 2 days of payment being sent with frequent, often daily, WIPs afterwards. my commission queue is publicly visible so you can see how much progress is being made across the whole queue.
i have not had this occur, but in the event that i fail to complete a commission for whatever reason, artconomy offers an escrow service that will return the commissioner's money if the artist does not complete a commmission. any commission with a green shield icon is covered by this escrow service. please see more information about this service here.
if a sudden unexpected life event occurs that may impact turnaround times for commissioners, i will communicate with commissioners through artconomy. if i am completely unable to work on commissions, i can offer refunds, but i have never had to do this and won't have to unless something truly severe happens
